What are we here for? Why do we even bust our rear ends to minister to the next generation?

When our Kids Church was still meeting in Galleria Suites, we implemented strict registration policies because we were right beside the mall. We wanted to up our security because the parents give us their trust for a couple of hours to teach their kids...

Hey Pastor Pao, I was once guilty of this. During my earlier teaching days, I mis-explained what KC is to a friend. So, she proceeded to say "Ah! you babysit!". I never bothered to correct her.

But now, I know better. When I am asked what we do in KC, I launch into an animatedly excited storytelling mode of how we teach. From the meticulous props making to the ever vigilant teachers assigned to secure the doors to make sure the kids are safe to communicating the message in a way the kids would appreciate.

Funny thing is, most people would always asked if we get some sort of "kapalit" for doing all these. I guess the answer they expect is that we get "something". Even though it can be hard to grasp, I just tell them that we do....We contribute to the change we will all experience in the future through the children we touch today.

I totally agree with you pastor pao! What's happening inside KC is history in the making and not just baby-sitting.

It is a time to build into the lives of these future leaders. It is not a time to entertain. It is a time to equip them for future stations in life. It is not a time to merely transfer information. It is to hopefully usher in transformation so that they can truly be a world changer.

go go go pastor pao :) and we are right here by your side, equipping and building all the way!

whatever it takes!

That mom needs a little training herself I think...

Seriously, these children are so blessed to be ministered to so faithfully and lovingly thru KC. Your team is excellent. The impact you are making in the lives of these little ones will go far beyond their growing years...hopefully equipping them as they transition into the more challenging and decision-making years of their lives.

Thanks, Ptr. Paolo and the KC team for sharing Christ to these kids and for supporting parents like me as we teach these children in the way they should go.

God bless you tremendously for your selfless work and strong faith.
